I've been busy making Christmas cards for the craft markets I'm doing this year. I haven't done any sort of markets for about 20 years (Oh my I'm old!), so we'll see how it goes. So here are the cards I've made so far. I'd love to hear your comments on them!

Life is Lovely

I've  made another 5"x5" card with a box envelope using Prima's "Zella Teal" paper collection. I've distressed all of the papers for this card and matted all of the papers using a light cream colored cardstock. For the first layer I cut the matte at 5"x5" and the "Collect Memories" paper from the collection cut at 4½" x 4½". My next layer I cut the matte at 4"x4" and then cut the "Floral Stories" at 3½" x 3½". I cut the sentiment "Life is Lovely" from the other side of the "Collect Memories" paper and added that to the front of the card.

For my flower cluster I used some Prima flowers from my stash that were different shades of cream colors.I added three in the top left corner of the card which I tucked a brown three loop bow into and added another small flower on to the bottom right corner of the card. Here is the finished card, I'd love to hear your comments on my card.

Grateful For You

Well for today's card I decided to use Prima's "Zella Teal" paper collection, these papers are just so pretty. I made the card size 5"x5" and matted the layers with a pale blue card stock, I also distressed all the papers. For the first layer I used the "Stone Rose" paper cut at 4¾" x 4¾" matted with the pale blue cardstock cut at 5"x5". The next layer I cut the matte at 4¼" x 4¼" and I used the "Floral Stories" paper cut at 4"x4". I then added the sentiment witch I cut from the "Live Loudly" paper and matted with the pale blue cardstock.

For my flower clusters I used 3 small teal rose buds from my stash on the bottom right corner. For the top left flower cluster I took some teal cardstock and made a bit bigger flower for the top corner. I then took some teal ribbon and made a double bow witch I tucked just under that flower. I added three more of the small teal rosebuds for the top cluster and called it done. I'm very happy at how the card turned  out and I'd love to hear your comments.

Just Because

Okay I think I'm addicted to these G45 "Floral Shoppe" paper collection. I had to make another card with them. This card is 4¾" x 6¾" and I matted all the papers with some matching pink cardstock and I distressed all the papers. For my bottom layer I used the A side of the Verdant paper cut to 4½" x 6½" onto the pink matting. For my next two layers I cut a piece 2" x 5" of the Pink Lillies paper and a piece of 1½" x 5" of the Golden paper and matted them both with the pink cardstock. I laid the smaller one overlapping the bigger piece and down slightly. Before I glued these two layers down I tucked a small doily underneath them and  to the right. I printed my sentiment off on my computer. Of course nothing is ever complete if you don't have flowers on it! I used some Prima flowers from my stash, the three main ones being a sort of peachy pink color. I then tucked in some pink and pale yellow rosebuds along with some other smaller flowers and die cut some leaves and tucked them in here and there. to finish the card off I made a double bow and tucked that just underneath the top left flower of the flower cluster. I was very happy with how it turned out. I'd love to hear your comments!

Hello Card

Hello, I'm back with another card using the Graphic 45 "Floral Shoppe" paper collection. I just love these papers. I made this card 5" x 5", with a box envelope. I used a bright yellow card stock to matte the paper layers and also distressed all the papers. For my first layer I cut the yellow matte at 5" x 5" and I then used the A side of the "Pink Lillies" paper cut at 4¾" x 4¾". My next layer was the yellow matte cut at 4½" x 4½" and then the A side of the "Midnight" paper cut at 4¼" x 4¼". For this layer I only taped three sides of the top paper and the yellow matte on the right side. I then tore the two papers on the right side towards the center of the paper so that I could roll the papers back as shown in the photo. I then added a small pale yellow flower and two small pink rose buds between the rolled papers. I then added a larger pale pink flower to the top layer where the tear in the papers ends. I added some tiny pink flowers along with some die cut leaves and tucked them in around the larger flower. I then die cut the hello sentiment and added that to the card.

I was very happy at how the card turned out. I'd love to hear your comments on the card. Thanks for stopping by. Here's the finished card.

G45 Floral Shoppe Card

Hi everyone. I hope you all had a great Labour Day long weekend. All the kids here in BC go back to school today, which I think will have a lot of parents doing a happy dance, lol.

I wanted to share a  new card I made using Graphic 45's "Floral Shoppe" paper collection. This card measures 4¾" x 6¾". I used a pale mauve piece of cardstock to mat my layers with. For the first matted layer I used the Midnight Medley paper. For the second matted layer I used the Sunlit Medley paper. For the sentiment I printed it out in my graphic program onto the B side of the "Indigo Lilies" paper. I  made a bow using some mauve ribbon I had in my stash and tucked it between all the Prima flowers I used on the top left corner. I was quite pleased at how it turned out. I'd love to hear your comments on my card. Thanks for stopping by!

Sun Kissed Cards

Just sharing three new cards that I've made using Graphic 45's "Sun Kissed" paper collection. This first card I've made is a lift of Maggie Harding, one of Graphic 45's  Special Project Designers, easel card that she made using Graphic 45's "Floral Shoppe" papers. Here is my take on her card.
These next two cards are for all the mermaid lovers out there and I love the saying. With the first card I die cut the mermaid using a deep navy blue and I covered the mermaid with stickles to give it a bit of sparkle. I made the small rosebuds out of navy blue paper. I felt the mermaid kind of got lost in the papers so on the second card I used white card stock to help her stand out more.
I hope you like the cards and I'd love to hear your comments. Thanks for stopping by!

Memories Mini Album

Well it's been awhile since I posted any thing here on my blog. I've been busy making a  new mini album so I wanted to show it off here. The album is 7"x6" and I used Graphic 45's "Floral Shoppe" paper collection for the album. I love these papers but I find them a bit to "busy" for a layout but perfect for Mini albums and cards. Below the photo's of the album I have posted a short video tour of the album. Thanks for visiting and I'd love to hear your comments on this album.

There is over 20 spots for your photos/journaling, includes pockets that you can place memorabilia. The front cover has three handmade flowers and a pretty crystal flourish and a pretty ribbon closure.
