Love Notes Mini Album

Well I've been busy making a new mini album. I found Graphic 45's "Love Notes" paper collection at my local scrapbook store and it just screamed to me "Mini Album"! So I stocked up and off I went home with all my goodies to start my new project. I made my album 7" x 6" with a two inch spine. There is more than 70 spots for photos and journaling. I added some Prima roses to the front cover, along with some black corner die-cuts. Here's the front cover.
I added a small dangle that I made to the spine  of the album.
Here is the back cover.
This is the inside of the back cover.
The following are the pages of the first section.

Thanks for looking and I'd love to hear your comments.

A Few Layouts

I've actually managed to get a few layouts done since my last post. This first one is a layout of a photo of my grand kids back in 2010. I can't believe how little they were, especially my grandson who is now 6'1", lol. I used the pretty "Blue Land" paper collection from Stamperia for this layout.

This next layout is of a photo of my daughter and her boyfriend from last summer when they were up visiting for a friends wedding. I used Kaisercraft's "Fairy Garden" paper collection. Did a lot of fussy cutting of the flowers from this paper line. Kaisercraft paper always have great collections for fussy cutting.
Here's a couple of close ups.

This next layout is a photo of my daughter with her pink wig on. She's currently going through chemo treatments for breast cancer and I must say she looks a lot better bald than I did when I was going through my breast cancer, lol. I used Prima's "Tales of You & Me" for this layout.
A few close ups.

This next layout of my daughter again. I used the Prima "Zella Teal" paper collection. I also did some stenciling and spraying on the layout and paint splatters.
Well thanks for looking and as always I'd love to hear your comments!

January 2019

Wow I got so busy with Christmas and doing a few craft fairs I totally got away from doing any posts on my blog. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and the new year is going to be awesome for everyone!

So this is my first layout of 2019. Actually my first layout in quite awhile as I was making so many Christmas cards for the last  month or so. For this layout I used Bo Bunny's "Serendipity" paper collection. I did a lot of inking and distressing of the papers, as well as doing some fussy cutting of the birds, feathers etc. This photo is from 2009. My grandkids didn't know I was coming for a visit until I showed up at my granddaughters baseball game. I can't believe this was 10 years ago. Love these two so much! Here's the layout and a few closeups.
