"Love" Mini Album
I made a new mini album after selling most of my mini's just before Valentines along with a number of my Valentine cards. For this album I used a tutorial from Paper Dream Designs again. I just love this little mini album. This time I used Prima's "Zella Teal" paper collection for the mini. Here's the front cover and photo's of the other pages.

Christmas 2017
For this layout of my son's family at Christmas I decided to use the same layout, with a few changes, as I did for one of my pre-made Christmas layouts that I sell on my website www.scrappers-heaven.com/premade.html
Here is the pre-made one that I have up on my website
I'm sorry I can't remember who's paper line these are from but you could basically use papers from any companies Christmas line. The punch I used for the red card stock strip is from Martha Stewart and the die cut tree is from Tim Holtz. Here is my finished layout, remember I always love to hear your comments!

Family Holiday
Another photo from our 2003 family holiday to Hawaii with my Dad. My Dad really liked the girls doing the dancing at the Luau we went to so he was pretty happy to get his photo taken with the girls, lol.
For this layout I used the Prima "Rose Quartz" paper collection again. I absolutely love this paper collection, so many things that you can fussy cut out of the different papers. As you can see I did just that by fussy cutting feathers and roses out of the papers. I cut some different size rectangles from the papers and played around with the placement of them until I was happy with it. I distressed and inked all of the papers for the layout. I added some cardboard to the back of the photo to pop it up from the papers, this way you can tuck things underneath the photo which is what I did with the fussy cut feathers. I popped the fussy cut roses up with foam pop dots. The flowers and rose buds on the top left corner of the photo I made myself so that I could get the right shade of pink to match the pink in the papers. I inked the wood "Family" piece a bit darker pink. I haven't quite decided on the "holiday" word underneath the Family, I think I'm going to take it off and maybe do it a bit different. So here's the finished layout, I'd love to hear your comments....

2003 Hawaiian Holiday
This layout is of a photo taken on a holiday to Hawaii back in 2003. My Dad had wanted to go on a holiday to Hawaii one more time before he died, so we did just that in May 2003. We had a great vacation and my Dad was so happy that we all went with him. He died the following February. This photo is of my cousin on the left, then me in the middle and my Dad on the right at a Luau we went to.
I used the Prima "Zella Teal" paper collection for this layout. I just love this collection, the colors and designs are so beautiful! As I mentioned in my previous layout post this Prima paper collection also has the top strip of each paper that you usually cut off printed with one of each of the paper designs from the collection.I took six of the top strips and cut them in half and laid them beside each other vertically towards the top right of the background paper and then towards the bottom left. I cut two other strips approximately 9" x 2" and cut them into banners and laid them horizontal on the page over the vertical pieces. I fussy cut one of the roses from the papers and popped it up with foam pop dots. The other flowers were from the same paper collection as well as a couple of stickers. The butterfly was one I printed out on card stock then cut out and added glossy accents to it. Once that was dry I added the wire antenna's that I had made. I also distressed all of the papers for the layout. I was quite happy with how the layout turned out, here's the finished layout....

Me in Grade 12
I found this photo taken of me in Grade 12 in old photos of my Mum & Dads. I can't believe this was 47 years ago, how the heck did I get so old, lol. I used Prima's "Rose Quartz" paper collection for this layout. For the background paper I used the black side of one of the papers. I used one of my flower stencils and used my modeling paste to stencil flowers on different areas of the background paper. I then took some white paint that I had watered down and did all sorts of paint splats onto the background paper and then heat set everything.
One of the cool thing about this Prima paper collection is that the top strip of each paper that you usually cut off is printed with one of each of the paper designs from the collection. I took a number of these strips and tore a little bit off of one side of each strip and then took those and laid them beside each other vertically towards the top of the background paper as shown below.
I then cut out different size rectangles from the different papers from this collection and laid them out until I liked the design. I distressed all of the papers for the layout. On the top edge of the background paper I made a small tear and rolled the edges back. I added another piece of the paper and added it to the back of the tear and then added a small rosebud in the tear. I fussy cut some roses and feathers from the different papers and added them to the layout. I popped the roses up with foam dots. I added some cardboard to the back of the photo and added that to the layout. After I added the photo I added some pink Prima flowers and leaves from my stash. I added two stick pins that I made (and sell on my website and/or Facebook page).
Here's the finished layout, I'd love to hear your comments!
