How's everyone doing during this Covid-19 pandemic. I hope everyone is staying home and staying safe during this crazy time. We've been lucky that our spring time has finally showed up with warm temperatures and not much rain so we've been able to get out into the yard getting it cleaned up, getting some of our vegetable garden and hanging baskets planted. Still waiting on getting more plants for our baskets and vegetable garden though.
In the meantime I've been doing some more scrapping. I absolutely love Ciao Bella's "Broccato Estense" paper collection with all of the beautiful blue colors. I thought this collection would be perfect for this cute photo of our youngest grandson Henry. I did so many other layouts for Henry's first year album but of course that album went to our daughter and family. So I figured I better make some layouts for ourselves. I did some layering with the different papers and some tags I cut out of the collection. I cut one of the metal flowers I had in my stash in half and attached them to the matted photo which I had popped up with some cardboard. I then made some light blue and navy blue flowers using a set of dies that I had. the small light blue and navy blue rosebuds were from my stash. I also cut out a hexagon die chipboard that I cut apart and added those to the layers. I had these small glass flowers in my stash for ages and I used those to dot around the layout. To finish the layout off I added the small chipboard frame onto the photo. I was quite happy with how the layout turned out. Here's the finished layout, I'd love to hear your comments!

New Year New Post...finally!
Wow I haven't posted on my blog since the end of December 2019! Who knew back in December that right now we would be in the middle of a world wide pandemic with "Covid-19". It's a pretty scary world out there right now. I hope that everyone is doing their best to "stay home to stay safe". I feel really bad for all of the people who have lost their jobs because of this pandemic. We are lucky that my husband is a truck driver so he is still able to work and I'm retired now so I have my retirement monies coming in. But there is so many families who don't have that luxury of having monies still coming into the household. It's the small business owners who have had to lay off their workers and may not be able to recover from this and have to close their businesses down that I feel really bad for, so we try to shop and support these businesses. I also hope that the people who can afford it will still be able to help by purchasing from crafters on-line like myself who don't have the opportunity to go to craft markets that have been shut down because of this pandemic. I would just like to say a huge thank you to all of the nurses/doctors, and first responders who are putting their own health at risk to hep everyone else!
Luckily being a crafter I am able to keep myself occupied doing my scrapbooking/card making. I have also got into making t-shirts and mugs etc which I hope to get listed on my website www.scrappers-heaven.com soon and hope that you will check it out. For now I am just going to post the layouts that I have been making.
